Description

The SAM (Secure Access Module) is a plug-in form-factor smart card that enhances security and cryptographic performance in payment terminals, such as validators, for contactless EMV cards.
The VSAM (Virtualization SAM), like its counterpart for closed-loop applications, the CL_SAM, extends these capabilities by enabling both open-loop and closed-loop payments. It incorporates secure transaction processing, which enhances system security.
The VSAM also carries the EMV L2 kernel, optimized for Visa "Online Deferred" transactions, and provides an interface with an EMV Level 1 certified contactless reader to execute all EMV transactions quickly and securely with easy implementation.
